Helena Partnerships
Helena Partnerships is one of the largest housing associations based in St Helens. Established in 2002, Helena took 14,400 homes from St Helens Council and is committed to the welfare and wellbeing of the people living in their homes and communities. The project was a Cat A fit out of an existing building to suit the client’s needs.
Project Objectives
The objective was to transform the empty building into a vibrant workspace and a welcoming place for the thousands of tenants that visit the building. There were a list of other requirements such as break out spaces, meeting rooms and a data suite plus a host of other client specific requirements.
Challenges
With a brief that changed throughout the project, the team had to be quick to adapt to new requirements and still incorporate them into the overall programme to prevent the delay of handover to the client.
Solution
Key Integrated Services carried out in-depth surveys of the existing services and redesigned them to suit the new layout and occupancy levels. The VRF and heat recovery ventilation systems installed were adapted and re-commissioned to provide a great environment to work in.
The Results
The end result was an absolutely fantastic place to work and a great place of interaction between the many people that require the services of this organisation. Key Integrated Services required to maintain the building and have retained Helena as a customer ever since.
