Mark Poulton

As founder and Chief Executive of the company, Mark has been involved with M&E contracting business’s for over 20 years. In that time Mark has been responsible for growing the company into its current form. A committed and passionate leader, Mark now focuses on the strategy of the group steering it toward the future. With experience in all aspects of running a business, Mark ensures the group runs as you would expect and to provide a workplace where people can thrive.

Manish Dev

Manish Dev, Group CFO at KeyIS, brings over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and business operations. A Fellow Chartered Accountant, he has successfully led financial strategies across multiple sectors, enhance business valuations and securing significant funding through venture capital, private equity and debt. Manish is recognised for his detailed approach to financial planning, process improvement, and his ability to enhance both financial and operational performance in collaboration with CEOs and management teams.

Ian McDowell

As Managing Director, Ian is responsible for the management of the group. Ian has a wealth of experience delivering challenging Cap-Ex projects around the world and is the go-to specialist for an enviable number of the world’s leading manufacturing companies. With over 30 years of experience, Ian has proven himself as a dynamic leader. Prior to joining KeyIS Ian has held other successful directorships, most notably for his role in a large specialist M&E contracting business.

Mark Fairhurst

As Operations Director, Mark leads the Head Office pre-construction team, overseeing business development with both new and established clients, managing the estimating team, and directing our in-house design and procurement teams. With over 25 years of experience in the M&E sector, Mark previously served as Managing Director for over 11 years at a respected HVAC company. His extensive expertise allows him to capitalise on value engineering opportunities while effectively managing project risks.

Paul O'Brien

As the head of the service & maintenance division, Paul is responsible for ensuring HVAC engineering maintenance compliance 24/7/365 across our customer’s sites nationwide. A proven leader with a deep technical and commercial understanding, Paul has built many successful technical services teams over the years and continues to do so at KeyIS. Many of service & maintenance division’s customers are the longest relationships in the group, a testament to the high-quality services they provide. Paul’s previous leadership roles include national sales responsibility for a FTSE250 Hard FM services provider.

Garry Williamson

As the head of our office in Newhey, Garry has built a team that covers a wide array of sectors from small works through to larger capital projects. Garry started in the industry as an apprentice for Haden Young and has since harnessed 21 years of experience in the sector working his way up to his current role. Prior to joining KeyIS Garry held several other successful leadership positions giving him the experience to successfully operate and expand the division he now leads.

James O'Hare

As Director of our FM, Service & Compliance division, James has over 30 years industry experience demonstrated in multi-site facilities management and M&E project services. Operating out of the North West offices in Leigh, James was recruited to lead and develop a newly formed Facilities Services Division to complement the already established M&E contracting business and is responsible for a portfolio of large FM clients delivering a broad scope of project and compliance services. James previously held a senior role at a large facilities services provider where he led a team of 100+ delivering annual revenues of circa £12m whilst achieving significant year on year margin improvement.

Paul Hankey

A long-standing director of the group, Paul is key to the smooth operation of the business. Spanning subjects such as health & safety, quality & environmental, Paul’s in-depth knowledge of these areas coupled with his experience on how the group operates, ensures that all members of the group are aligned with the operational expectations of the board. Paul has successfully delivered large and complex projects throughout his career.

Saul Beresford

Saul is the director responsible for the Kings Lynn office. With a keen focus on the food & beverage sector, Saul has built an exceptional client base and leads a team that consistently delivers for its customers. Being a time-served electrician, Saul has progressed through various roles and as such has a deep knowledge of his sectors from consultation to completion - there is no project he can’t deliver.

Matthew Cornwell

Matthew is a Director at the Kings Lynn office. Predominately responsible for the delivery of a large portion of their projects, Matthew has formed strong relationships with his customer base and is someone who they know they can rely on. Having been through the ranks at KeyIS he understands how each tier operates and the support everyone needs to fulfil their objectives to the full. Matthew is the type of person you want on your team and has what it takes to fulfil the companies and our clients expectations consistently.

Laurence Coatsworth

With over 25 years’ experience working in the social housing gas maintenance sector, Laurence has worked through the ranks from technical engineer through to the position of Operations Director for our Social Housing Division. KeyIS Social Housing install, service and maintain gas appliances for social housing landlords and local authorities and are committed to delivering a first-class customer service and value for money for our clients and their residents. With a flexible approach, focussing on contract delivery and embracing new technology, we provide a bespoke customer experience tailored to suit the ever-changing needs of our clients.

Gareth Whyte

As Head of Renewables for our Social Housing Division, Gareth has over 20 years of experience within building services and over 15 years specifically in renewable energy. His background stems from physically installing equipment to engineering, design and project management. Decarbonisation is a passion of Gareth’s, and he works with both domestic and commercial clients offering a full turn-key solution from concept stage, through the design process to procurement, construction and handover and finally servicing and maintaining the equipment throughout its life span.
