Cottom Foods, based in Liverpool, is a family business which has been manufacturing high quality, great tasting sausage and black pudding to the same recipe since the business was founded nearly 20 years ago.
Cottom Foods purchased a larger premise to meet their increased production requirements. KeyIS projects division were engaged direct by the client to develop the scope and budget for the mechanical and electrical services before being awarded the contract to carry out the installation.
The installation was completed on time and in line with projected budgets and the client and their staff were delighted with their new facility.
To ensure their facilities were maintained to this high standard, KeyIS maintenance division were awarded the contract to provide the planned and reactive maintenance and to also manage the warranty and defects liability period on the new equipment.

The production facility is operational 24/7 therefore we needed to develop a bespoke maintenance programme which provided a flexible approach to the facility with minimal disruption, whilst maintaining the facility remains fully operational. To ensure familiarity with the equipment and the site’s operational procedures, the same multi-skilled engineers are assigned to the maintenance programme.
