Cottom Foods, based in Liverpool, is a family business which has been manufacturing high quality, great tasting sausage and black pudding to the same recipe since the business was founded nearly 20 years ago.
Due to continued growth, the client had purchased a larger premise to meet the increased production requirements. KeyIS was engaged direct to the client to develop the scope and budget for the mechanical and electrical services before being awarded the contract to carry out the installation.
The client had a limited budget to develop the new facility, so KeyIS had to develop a cost-effective solution that met both the clients cost plan and the hygienic regulatory standards required of a food production facility.
Through the experience KeyIS has built up over many years of working in the food production sector, we were able to apply this to provide a cost-effective technical solution that met the client’s expectations and that required of a meat processing facility. KeyIS installed all the HVAC, mechanical & electrical services including the Fire Alarm, CCTV and Security.
The project was completed on time and to meet the Cottom Foods planned move into the new premises. Our original projected budgets were met and the client and their staff were delighted with the new facility.
