Prospere Learning Trust
Prospere Learning Trust are a high performing, unique and innovative Trust comprising of four mainstream high schools and four special schools with children aged 11-18 including coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status. The 9 schools are located throughout South Manchester.
There has been significant development across the trust, for example Manchester Enterprise Academy campus now has an additional teaching building, The Durie Building, which incorporates a Theatre, Art, Fashion and Dance studios, and brand-new Science laboratories. There is also a new £1 million multi-sport facility which includes a full-size 3G rugby and football pitch and other redeveloped sports facilities. They also have a new cafe and dining facilities, an additional Food Technology room and refurbished ICT, Business and Modern Foreign Language classrooms.
PLT required a service partner that could align themselves with the Trust’s vision to provide the optimum environmental conditions which are conducive to the student’s learning and educational journey. They were also looking for a maintenance partner that could support them in meeting not just their sustainability strategy but also maximise the uptime and life span of their engineering assets.
Working in partnership with the Trust , KeyIS has developed a bespoke maintenance strategy to optimise the learning environment whilst minimising disruption to the Trust. This also takes into consideration the range of extracurricular activities which take place both after school and during holiday periods. The planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance services we provide include:
- Air conditioning systems
- VRF Systems
- Heating pumps and pressurisation units
- Pumps and motors
- Statutory inspection and testing
- Air handling units and ventilation systems
- Point of use water heaters
- BMS System
- Emergency Lighting
- Reactive and emergency repairs
- Minor works and projects (including replacement of pressure relief valves and replacement of condensate pumps)
We strive at all times to ensure that the schools are maintained to a high standard whilst ensuring no disruption to the curriculum. A robust and flexible planned maintenance strategy is essential to ensure our activities are carried out without any disruption to the schools, ensuring 100% compliance is maintained.
