Rowan Foods
Situated in Wrexham, Rowan Foods, specialised in making and developing retailer label prepared foods for the top UK grocery retailers. The project at this site was to provide an extension to the factory including a new tray wash area.
Project Objectives
Key Integrated Services’ objective was to design, install and commission mechanical services installations to service the new equipment the client had set out in the employer’s requirements.
Challenges
Being a high care facility and under scrutiny of the end user, Key Integrated Services had to complete the installation to the highest standards. The existing plant was used to service the new area of which correct validations had to take place to ensure there was no effect to the current production areas.
Solution
Key Integrated Services provided detailed design for the installation and executed the works with its in-house workforce. All installations were completed utilising stainless steel services and appliances with bespoke bracketry designed and manufactured for the scheme.
The Results
The scheme was delivered on time and on budget with the main contractor employing Key Integrated Services on a number of other schemes.
