The Project

The Ardonagh Group is the UK’s largest independent insurance broker with global reach.They have a network of over 100 office locations and a workforce of nearly 7,000 people.

The estate, which comprises some 60 sites of varying sizes from small outlets to large central offices will be provided with a full suite of mechanical, electrical & building fabric support with a 4 hour response time and 24 hour call out facility.

Project Objectives

The client had over 100 different suppliers across their estate and their objective was to move these services to a single maintenance provider who was culturally aligned to their vision and values.

The planned, preventative and reactive maintenance services we provide include:

  • Electrical power and distribution
  • Portable appliance testing
  • Heating systems
  • Mechanical & electrical building services
  • Minor Building fabric maintenance
  • Fire Alarm system maintenance
  • Statutory inspection & testing
  • Reactive and emergency repairs

Challenges

The challenge was to move all services from multiple contractors to Key Integrated Services under a single maintenance contract within a 3 month mobilisation period.

Solution

As our partner, we were able to successfully bring over 90% of the services in-house.

The contract was awarded to Key Integrated Services as we were able to successfully bring over 90% of the services in-house. We also provide a national service solution delivered through our 24/7 help desk facility, ensuring 100% statutory compliance is achieved. This includes a guaranteed response time to all of our emergency call-outs, thereby ensuring speed of response.
