Jaguar Land Rover, Boston
Duckworth Jaguar Land Rover, Lincolnshire’s longest established Jaguar Land Rover dealerships and one of few family owned and managed dealerships in the UK. Between two dealerships Duckworth Land Rover now has over 100 staff members and continues to thrive due to having a passionate customer service focused attitude.
Project Objectives
The project was a major expansion of Duckworth’s existing Land Rover franchise in Boston with the addition of the Jaguar brand. A 4.25-acre greenfield site would be developed to provide a 50,000 square foot facility with a showroom for 19 cars, state of the art service bays for 13 vehicles along with external retail space for up to 80 new and used cars.
Challenges
Being a high end luxury product with a clear brand, strict guidelines had to be followed to ensure finishes were exactly as required and of the highest standard. Sanitaryware was procured from Australia which proved a challenge during a fairly tight construction programme.
Solution
Key Integrated Services provided detailed design and full delivery of the mechanical services installations. A thermal model was completed to ensure design parameters were met. Installations included wax filled diffusers in the showroom, VRF systems in front of house areas, radiant panels and gas fired radiant tube heaters in the workshop areas. Services to the garage equipment were provided.
The Results
The end result was a flagship dealership for the client and something everyone involved was proud of. The facility was built to the newly introduced Jaguar Land Rover ARCH concept and is amazing from all aspects.
